When it comes to being an active kid, 11-year-old Phoebe is a model example. Her mom explains with pride that her daughter is passionate about her interests, which run the gamut from playing tennis to the cello.
Phoebe also has myopia. Three years ago, she wore glasses, but her vision was rapidly getting worse, making it hard for her to focus on all the activities she loved.
The turning point came after her eye doctor prescribed MiSight®* 1 day.
Now that her prescription has stabilized, Phoebe has a new story to tell about her vision.
“I’ve been wearing MiSight® 1 day contact lenses for about 2 years,” Phoebe says. “It was easy once I got the hang of it. My contacts help me stay determined and focused because they’re no distractions. It’s just what I’m trying to do and what I’m trying to achieve. My vision is perfect.”
After witnessing a previous, steady decline in her daughter’s vision, MiSight® 1 day has changed the trajectory of her daughter’s vision, Phoebe’s mom adds.
“I think MiSight® is a win-win, because no matter what, you’re going to have to help your children see as clearly as they can at this age,” Phoebe’s mom says. “We’re investing in her future by reducing the myopia. The earlier you can intervene is the best thing you can do as a parent.”
